Step 1: Finding a career
1. Internal exploration: Through the analysis of professional interests, personality, values, and abilities, you can initially confirm your career direction. 2. External exploration: Through the exploration of educational background, professional experience, workplace conditions, and important others, the above 3-5 directions can be reduced to 1-2.
Step two: find motivation to execute
1. Material motivation-quantify your long-term and short-term life goals, that is, quantify your life goals with money. Although it seems vulgar to do so, I think the effect is obvious. For example: in 10 years you need a house and a car, the result of the quantification, you need 1 million, the average annual income of 100,000, not much, because you did not consider living expenses.
2. Spiritual motivation—Reconfirm that the 1-2 career directions you have chosen are the ones you are interested in, and narrow your career direction to one.
Step 3: Develop a long and short implementation plan
Plan for 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, what job you should do, what knowledge or skills you should learn.
Step 4: Know how to properly adjust your plan during the implementation process
This is most important because it is about establishing a career planning philosophy. The future is unpredictable, and any kind of change may occur. When you find that the plan you originally made is impossible to continue, you must use the concept of career planning to adjust appropriately.
